1. We use only kiln dried North Red Oak. Our
buyer's travel the country in search of the best raw materials
available.
2. All our face frames, which is the structural foundation
of our furniture, are solid oak and are joined with hidden
screws to eliminate all surface repairs resulting form visible
fasteners.
3. No reconstituted wood products (i.e. particle board) or
synthetics are ever used on our products.
4. All tops are 1 ¼" thick solid oak, they are
also easily repaired if they sustain scratches or other minor
damage.
5. We use ¾" thick hi-grade, veneer core plywood
for all our sides.This adds structural integrity and stability
to all our pieces.
6. We hand select the wood that is used in our tops and drawer
fronts to ensure good color and grain match.
7. We use glue on all joints as well as using a solid screw
and block assembly to secure them.
8. All drawer fronts are solid 1" thick and have a French
Dovetail construction for added strength and increased space
inside the drawer.
9. All drawer fronts are hand stained and all drawer edges
are fine cut and hand sanded to finish as well as the face.
10. All drawer buttons are a full ¼" thick (rather
than 1/16 or 1/8").
11. All our case goods have a drawer guide system that consists
of dual steel and ball bearing " Accuride" slides
for a lifetime of guaranteed (Accuride) service.
12. Distinctive antique brass hardware-sheet formed with lacquer
finish.
13. All drawers in all case goods are lined with aromatic
cedar for the protection of fine clothing and linen.
14. Exquisite velvet lined, removable, jewelry and two lingerie
drawers inside the dresser.
15. All mirrors are full ¼" thick not the usual
3/16", and is of optical quality which eliminates visual
distortion. The bevel cut edges are eight times more expensive
that a straight machine cut edge.
