Company Profile

LanPar, Inc., dba Oakwood Interiors™ was founded in 1982 and incorporated in California in 1984. The corporation is wholly- owned by Nick Lanphier and Larry Parnell, who also actively manage the firm as its chief executive officers. Oakwood Interiors™ has been structured and equipped to provide the home furnishings market with the best values possible in medium to high-end hardwood furniture and complementary products. Each of our unique products is identified with an individual serial number on a metal I.D. plate, providing continued growth in value as the product ages, as well as individual identity of every piece for insurance and security purposes. In 1996, Oakwood Interiors™ substantially expanded capacity by centralizing all of its facilities to a ten acre site in Ontario, California owned by Nick Lanphier, the company's CEO. This 180,000 Sq. Ft. manufacturing and shipping facility will allow Oakwood Interiors™ to continue to progress in volume and quality well into the future. The 85,000 Sq. Ft. mill room houses some of the woodworking industry's finest machinery and technology available. In addition to the outstanding complement of standard production equipment, Oakwood Interiors™ has developed a complete in-house carving department, and an independent quality assurance and development department.

Oakwood Interiors consistently high quality is also the result of a production team of about 500 employees committed to quality and productivity, in that order. Employee turnover is quite low. In its brief history, Oakwood Interiors™ has generated steady growth in both sales and profits, and enjoys a healthy banking relationship with appropriate open lines of credit. All accounts receivable are covered under credit Insurance coverage, with consumer credit lines subject to approval by the carrier.

Oakwood Interiors™ uses the finest oak woods to create our elegant traditional designs. The beauty of oak is its natural character and strength developed by the environment over time. The warmth and charm of oak is also its uniqueness, it can appear so similar but yet be so different in grain pattern, color and appearance. No two pieces of wood are ever exactly alike, even from the same tree. Due to the difference in natural color and grain each piece of wood will react differently to the finishing materials used. These differences in grain and in color in the fine oak woods we use are natural occurrences that add to the wood's beauty and character.
